HAND-PAINTED CUSTOM TEE SHIRT DESIGN WORKSHOPS
Design an original custom hand-painted tee shirt, the perfect gift for a loved one.
In this workshop you will create your own unique hand painted tee shirt design through experimenting with a variety of techniques including the use of stencils, stamp printing and hand-painting with different size brushes. The Tee- shirt paint we use is machine washable and tee shirts are provided. You are also welcome to bring one of you own tee shirts or pair of jeans to upcycle if you wish. Helen will provide some imagery to give you inspiration.
All materials provided. You can also bring your own garment to upcycle

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP DIGITAL PAINTING WORKSHOP
Transform a photograph into a digital painting with Adobe Photoshop
In this workshop you will be introduced to basic Photoshop tools, layers, filters and photographic effects for creating striking digital painting effects on your photographs. You will be able to transform one of your photographs into a digital painting either by altering the photograph image directly, or by painting over the photograph and creating a new traditional style painting, by mixing colours and brushes just like real painting. This is a great workshop for gaining a better understanding of creative Photoshop techniques in preparation for creating your own unique designs for postcards, greeting cards and digital photographic painting prints and composition.

Visual Music Painting Workshop
VISUAL MUSIC PAINTING WORKSHOP
Transform a musical track into a beautiful Visual Music Painting
The session will begin with an introduction to the theory of Synaesthesia and a look at the Visiual Music works of 20th Century artists Wassily Kandinsky, Frantisek Kupta and Paul Klee. In the early 20thcentury, artists explored new theories of colour scale representing by the scales of notes and tonal value in music. In this workshop you will gain an introduction to the theory of Visual Music Painting and working with mixed media materials, paint, crayons, pencils and brushes and mark-making tools, for interpreting sound as colour and form. The creative process begins with collectively listening to music tracks in the studio, followed by sketching ideas and expressing your own unique experience of seeing sound as colour, line and form. Helen will guide you through this experimental and enlightening process. After developing your sound sketches, you will get the opportunity to create your own Visual Music painting on A4 size canvas.
